Booster Club

The Booster Club supports Canterbury's interscholastic athletic and physical education program. Working with the school's Athletic Director, this organization sponsors such events as the Crusader Award banquets, the annual Alumni Reunion game, the Concession stand for the athletic complex, a basketball "shoot-a-thon" and Crusader Field Day for students in all grades.

The Club's primary purpose is to foster "Crusader Spirit" throughout the school community while supporting the physical education and athletic programs, student-athletes and coaches. The Booster Club has a tremendous impact on school pride, the sports program and athletic facilities.

These volunteers embody our belief in the physical development of children with keen minds, strong bodies, positive attitudes and good sportsmanship.

FHSAA Fred E. Rozell Sportsmanship Award
Our Crusader Athletic program has been awarded the Fred Rozelle Sportsmanship Award twice in the past eight years, in 2002 and 2009. This award is given by the FHSAA to schools that exhibit exemplary sportsmanship during the regular season and during the State Series competition. Each year the award is presented to one school in each classification whose total sports program best exemplifies the qualities of sportsmanship by its coaches, players, and spectators.
