learning resource center

All students, parents and faculty in any grade have access to the Learning Resource Center. Through the Learning Resource Specialist, any member of the school community may confer about an academic plan, request an independent tutor, discuss learning styles, or coordinate other support services.

The Learning Resource Center is available to manage enrichment needs or accommodations such as extended-time testing for identified students. The Learning Center Staff also assists with course scheduling, consults with tutors or teachers about individual needs of students and provides private space for tutorial or conferencing.

NATIONAL MERIT SCHOLARS & NATIONAL HISPANIC RECOGNITION PROGRAM SCHOLAR
Congratulations to our 2010 National Merit Scholar and our two National Merit Commended Scholars.

AP SCHOLARS
We are so proud of all our AP Scholars! AP Scholar designation is granted to students who receive grades of 3 (5 is the highest score) or higher on three or more AP Exams. This year we had three AP Scholars in the Class of 2009, four AP Scholars in the Class of 2010, and three AP Scholars in the Class of 2011.

AP SCHOLARS WITH HONOR
The AP Scholar with Honor distinction is granted to students who receive an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. This year we had one AP Scholar with Honor in the Class of 2009 and two AP Scholars with Honor in the Class of 2010.

AP SCHOLARS WITH DISTINCTION
The AP Scholar with Distinction designation is granted to students who receive an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. This year we congratulate two AP Scholars with Distinction in the Class of 2009 and three AP Scholars with Distinction in the Class of 2010.
