Canterbury School of Florida was founded in 1968 as a co-educational, college-preparatory day school. While affiliated with the Episcopal Church, Canterbury welcomes students of all races, creeds and religious origins, encouraging a diverse student body. The school is situated on two campuses minutes apart in northeast St. Petersburg: Hough Campus for prekindergarten through grade 4 and Knowlton Campus for grades 5 through 12.

100% of the Class of 2010 is accepted to 116 colleges and universities.
The Class of 2010 earns nearly $4.8 million dollars in merit scholarships, and
41% of the class is accepted to university honors programs.
Senior is named National Merit Scholar, and two seniors were named Commended Scholars.
Senior is named National Hispanic Scholar.
Senior receives an appointment to the United States Naval Academy.
54 upper school students take 150 Advanced Placement exams in 17 subjects. AP classes are added in Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, bringing the total number of AP classes offered to 20.
7 middle school students win state-level recognition in the Duke University Talent Identification Program, and 2 won Grand Recognition.
Groundbreaking takes place for a new upper school building.
Technology expands with SMART Boards™ in every classroom, document cameras in more than 70% of classrooms, extended in-house professional development for all faculty and staff, and increased accessibility of wireless resources.
3 seniors are recruited to play collegiate football.
Senior is one of twelve athletes named to FHSAA All Academic Team.
