Admission

Thank you for taking this opportunity to learn more about Canterbury. From prekindergarten through grade 12 Canterbury is focused on the development of the whole child – academic, artistic, physical and spiritual.

Our admission process allows new families to explore the school, meet teachers and current students, and see how special interests and expectations might connect to the Canterbury community and programs.  It is just as important for a family to thoughtfully choose Canterbury as the right school as it is for us to carefully select each new member of our student body. Canterbury welcomes students who indicate a willingness to participate and a desire to do one’s best.

We hope you will schedule a visit and let Canterbury speak for itself.  As you observe classes and activities, you will see why Canterbury is known for graduates who are not only well-educated, but who carry with them core values of friendship, scholarship, sportsmanship and citizenship.

Canterbury School of Florida welcomes students without regard to race, religion, economic or social status.  Because there are a limited number of openings in each grade, we regret we are not able to accept every qualified applicant. As a member school, Canterbury adheres to the Principles of Good Practice as outlined by the National Association of Independent Schools.
